Lures by Poppa Tom

Howdy friends; I am working on a few pages that will explain the how-tos of carving and making fishing lures. We will discuss "poppers", deep and shallow diving lures, and how to make lures rattle and shake to awaken an attack response from fish. We will also look into tying flies, and the materials and tools that are important to the creation of good looking ( to fish I hope) representations of "Bugs", "Nymphs" and other terrestrials that can be used to catch fish. I have been tying my own flies and carving my own lures since I was eight years old and I am well into my sixties now so I have a little bit of experience and expertise in these areas.
